We asked her a few questions and here is what she had to say:
If you could describe Paul Clüver Family Wines in three words, what would they be?
Excellent, Persistency, Balanced
Can you share some memorable experiences or achievements at Paul Clüver Family Wines?
My greatest achievement is being given the opportunity to help continue building the Paul Clüver legacy.
Can you share your journey at Paul Clüver Family Wines? What inspired you to pursue a career in the wine industry?
I started at Paul Clüver Family Wines without knowledge about wines and little experience or qualifications. I was given the opportunity and took it with both hands, having only one goal to achieve, which was to make myself proud.
There is a saying in life: if you get a second opportunity, make it worthwhile. Dr. Paul Clüver’s love for the Estate and the little things in it, from trees to the vineyard, inspired me to be part of this amazing family and work as hard as our incredible Cellar Master.
What advice would you give aspiring professionals who want to pursue a career in the wine industry, particularly in sales and wine expertise?
You have to be flexible, as working in the industry only comes with a little social time. But if you love what you do, serving different wines daily will automatically become your favourite bonding activity.
What do you enjoy most about working in the wine industry, specifically at Paul Clüver Family Wines?
The one thing I enjoy most is meeting new people. I look forward to presenting the stunning array of Paul Clüver wines that express the terroir of our farm and the souls of its people.
What’s the most unusual or unexpected pairing you’ve discovered with one of Paul Clüver Family Wines?
The most unusual paring was a salted fudge with Estate Riesling.
