Riesling was one of the first grape varieties planted at Paul Clüver and this Noble Late Harvest wine has gained a cult-following, as well as being one of our most awarded wines. Made only in exceptional years where grapes are left to hang on the vine to achieve botrytis (noble rot), this classic sweet wine is both unctuous in its sweetness while fresh and lively in expressing true cool climate Noble Late Harvest Riesling.
Riesling
As with all great Riesling wines, the emphasis lies in expressing the varieties multi-layered fruit spectrum, whilst retaining a riveting, lusty freshness. These aspects are best-achieved in a cool-climate terroir, with Paul Clüver showing its environment as being conducive to a blue-blood Riesling.
