Bloem Receives a 1‑Star Eat Out Award
We’re thrilled to share that Bloem – the tapas-style restaurant by acclaimed chefs Bertus Basson and Carla Burger, located on the Paul Clüver Estate – has been awarded 1 Star at the Eat Out Awards.
This recognition celebrates their refined approach to flavour, creativity, and hospitality. Bloem brings a thoughtful, contemporary dining experience to the heart of Elgin, offering guests a menu that is both expressive and deeply rooted in local inspiration.
Bloem forms part of the broader visitor experience at Paul Clüver, and we’re proud to host such an exceptional culinary destination on our estate.

Bloem Pizza Garden
For a more relaxed visit, Bloem Pizza Garden offers wood fired pizzas, a casual outdoor setting, and the easy charm of long afternoons beneath the trees.
Open Tuesday to Sunday – including Friday evenings (weather permitting) – it’s the perfect spot for families, groups of friends, or anyone wanting a laid back meal on the estate.
Friday evenings are weather permitted.
